 The numerical study was carried out to investigate the influence of infrared radiative budgets on precipitation from tropical ice layered cloud, using a one dimensional-cylindrical model with detailed microphysics.

 In sole ice layered cloud, growth of ice crystal at upper region is enhanced in a radiatively cooled environment,and leading a strong precipitation on ground. Rate of increased precipitation by radiation is sensitive to IWC(ice water content) in the cloud,and the cloud thickness.

 In coupling case, with warm cumulus under the ice layered cloud, large particle which is seeding from upper cloud considering radiation accumulate small particle in the lower cumulus, and increased precipitaion on ground. In addition, time lag between seeding threshold and cumulus develop is important.
